PROJECT: A POSTER ABOUT THE STORY OF MY NAME

STAGE 1: 
A. Read about your name. You can use the following links to find information:

• Significado de nombres
• Nombres
• Misabueso

B.  Take notes in your notebook about interesting facts. 

(You can take notes in Spanish) For example:

1. What's the meaning of your name?
2. Personality.
3. Important people with the same name (queens, kings, writers....)
4. Your name in other languages

ASSESSEMENT (EVALUACIÓN): Para evaluar este trabajo "STAGE 1" se tendrá en cuenta la siguiente rúbrica.

STAGE 2: 
A. Select the information you will include in your poster. Write in English:

• 1. Short sentence with the meaning of your name.
• 2. Origin.
• 3. Adjectives related to personality. (3-4 adjectives)
• 4. Name of 2-3 important people, including their jobs.
• 5. Your name in other 2-3 languages.

USE wordreference to translate words into English. 

EXAMPLE:

B. Ask your family:

• Who chose your name?
• Why? (granddad, grandma...)

STAGE 3: Create a gmail account. Este trabajo se evaluará en clase con la observación directa teniendo en cuenta la autonomía a la hora de crear la cuenta y poder acceder a canva.com con la siguiente rúbrica.

STAGE 4: Poster creation. Log in into CANVA.
